Luke 10:9, Jesus tells us, "Cure the sick who are there and say to them, the kingdom of God has come near you." Caring congregations like Christ Lutheran Church always have their eyes and ears open to the little things going on within their communities and they ask themselves: HOW CAN I HELP?

Our mission is to help grow and equip people to become viable Christians who act as God's right hand to bring about healing within our community. A family who trusts in the Lord, who belong to Christ and know without question or fear that God has chosen to dwell within their hearts "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control" (Galatians 5:22). These are the people of God who live as though the fulfillment of God's promise is certain and where love and caring rules. The people who truly are God's family. God's family, that's what we are! God's family, gathered together in this place called Christ Lutheran Church. God's family, gathered to bring healing. God's family, gathered to bring hope for a glimpse into the future: "the blind will receive sight, the lame will walk, the lepers will be cleansed, the deaf will hear, the dead will be raised, and the poor will have good news brought to them" (Luke 17:19). God's family, that's what we are!

At Christ Lutheran we strive to create a congregation of people dedicated to healing our community. Our strength lies in our congregation's spiritual belief that we can find answers to today's relevant questions, and that during this process, we can support each other through our belief in God. We are dedicated to building strong families by creating faith and values at home. We believe that the Bible provides many truths and messages that relate to our lives today, and that by sharing our faith and these truths with you, you too can discover the warmth and joy of the Christian lifestyle that our congregation enjoys.

At Christ Lutheran, we believe that each and every member of our congregation is a "living stone". With Jesus as the "cornerstone," our people create the strength and foundation of faith upon which our church is built. Each one of us contributes in our individual God-given way to the mission and success of our church. We invite you to become a member and share in our strength. Your talents, your spiritual support and your community of faith are vital to the continued support that our foundation of "living stones" provides.
